The National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE) is a nonprofit membership organization that specializes in varsity collegiate esports and has over 170+ member schools with 5,000+ athletes within them. NACE was founded in 2016 and by 2019 had already brought on 94% of the varsity esports programs in the US. NACE is the only association of varsity esports programs within the US and is continually growing and adding new chapters.

NACE’s members are developing the structure and tools needed to advance collegiate esports in the varsity space. Areas of collaboration include Eligibility, Path to Graduation, Competition & Scholarships, IP Rights, and Program Implementation. NACE currently represents the majority of varsity esports programs as members, accounting for nearly all varsity programs across North America. Michael and his work with NACE have been featured on ABC’s Good Morning America, ESPN, Forbes, Fortune, NBC, SBJ, and many others.

Naeem Shabir (UK based)
Naeem has been passionate about esports for over 5 years. During these years of continually learning about the expansive esports industry, Naeem has written a book to codify his knowledge on the industry as well as speaking at numerous conferences, panels, and forums, including ESI and World Economic Forum. Naeem has also co-founded Intergalactic Gaming, a UK-based company building a next-gen social competitive gaming and esports platform. In its first year of beta, IGGalaxy has exceeded 150k sign-ups, 1k tournaments across 10 esport titles – distributing over $100k in prizes.
Weekly Interactive Zoom Video Chats: A unique aspect of each 8-week course is the opportunity for students to participate in weekly, interactive live zoom video chats with fellow students, Michael Brooks, Naeem Shabir, and guest speakers. This is a tremendous opportunity to learn from your course facilitators. In addition, the chat allows you to network within the international esports industry and build lasting relationships with your course facilitators and fellow students. If you are unable to attend the chat they are recorded and archived and you can listen at a more convenient time.
